The USF men’s basketball team is ranked number 25 in the country, according to the latest AP poll and USA Today’s coaches poll.
The Bulls are in conversation with some of the nation’s most elite teams ahead of March Madness. The team set a program record with their last win.
They currently have a 13-game win streak and sold out their last two home games.
Up next, USF will face off against the Charlotte 49ers in North Carolina on Saturday, March 2. Tip-off for the game is at 4 P.M. and can be streamed on ESPN Plus.
Lyft makes some inclusive changes
Lyft is ensuring rideshare safety with a new feature now available nationwide giving women and non-binary riders the option to choose their drivers.
Lyft launched the setting in select cities last year allowing users to turn on a preference for their drivers. The company says the expansion follows a positive response from both riders and drivers, with over two-thirds of eligible drivers opting into the feature.
Lyft user Annika Singh feels the changes are a good step toward safer rides.
“As a woman in college, I have to take Lyft pretty frequently like when I go out with friends or even to class sometimes and I feel a lot safer being able to see who my driver is beforehand” Said Singh.
Only 23 percent of Lyft drivers and half of all riders identify as women. This means the expansion of this feature could help create a more inclusive rideshare environment.
Lyft has rolled out several new safety features including the ability for drivers to request emergency help and real-time location share.
