Starbucks to close hundreds of locations… including one near you

The Starbucks on Fowler Avenue is closing it’s doors for good.
It’s one of the many locations that the company said wasn’t making enough profit or fitting corporate standards.
“They made sure to really emphasize that the company was going to do whatever they could and you know there was a severance package if you did get severed and that’s pretty much all we knew, ” said Sara Hernandez, Starbucks barista.
It’s all apart of a million dollar turn around plan. This is the second round of layoffs under CEO Brian Niccol.
“Having the store that was open close to my house made it really convenient to be able to get around, but now I’m adding in a fourth location of where I have to go, ” said Anna Clayton, Starbucks barista.
Many other locations have closed in different parts of Florida as well.
