Little Mike Crowell Jr. has been working on airplanes since the 1960s, and nothing seems to be stopping him. Crowell became a mechanic in ’63, and since then, he has won the highest FAA Mechanic Award and has flown just over 600 hours privately. Though his young age of 80 may stop him from solo flights, it does not stop his love and great ability to help the planes that need a “little” fixing.

Crowell intends to continue his passion with his maintenance company, Crowell’s Aircraft Maintenance, based out of Crystal River Airport.
