The HGTV hit show “House Hunters” will feature a local Zephyrhills realtor.
Chelsea Rose, the owner and a realtor for Coldwell Banker AquaTerra Realty, said that the opportunity came about through social media. House Hunters contacted her on TikTok and then she went through a casting process.
In the episode, Rose will help a couple search for their first home in Tampa. The couple recently paid off their debt and is ready to leave apartment life behind.
However, they have different ideas about what their new home should look like. One buyer wants to save money with a fixer-upper, while the other wants a home that meets their expectations from the start.
Rose described the filming process as a exciting experience and very different compared to a regular house showing.
“A lot of showings are 30-45 minutes; you’re out the door with this production. With house hunters, you’re really getting to see every nook and cranny of a house before you purchase it,” Rose said.
Rose chose to take on the opportunity since she has been a longtime fan of the show. She also said that she has felt that her and her buyers’ personalities would be fun to catch on camera. Rose also said she’s excited to represent Zephyrhills on the hit TV show. She prides herself on the fact that she built the brokerage around local knowledge, relationships and helping people.
“We’re a small town [Zephyrills], but it’s getting larger, and we’re on the map for the water, but no one else knows. Sometimes, it’s like, what is that place?” Rose said. “We have a lot up and coming.”

The episode, titled “Closet Clashes and Bathroom Battles,” aired Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. on HGTV. It follows the couple as they compare homes and work through their different priorities while searching for their first house.
