The Music Appreciation Club held its first meeting of 2025 on Friday, Jan. 17 in MSC 3712. The club is described as a “fun, casual setting where students enjoy music of all kinds,” and a place where students can “create new friendships through our music community,” according to its website.
The meeting was hosted by Club President Allan Gonzalez and club members selected their favorite songs of 2024 and played them. The songs are then put into a queue and played for the duration of the meeting.

“So, I just think it’s important to have like a bunch of recreational, fun clubs around campus where students can engage with each other, hang out with each other, make friends, talk about cool stuff, like music, movies and stuff like that,” Gonzalez said.
The Music Appreciation Club holds meetings every Friday at 5:30 p.m.
